About us

Between vasefuls of Freesia, Tulips and Roses, we have shared both special occasions and ordinary moments with our customers since 1971.

Baby Showers, Baptisms, Birthdays and Bar Mitzvahs… From the "Marry Me" handful to the Wedding Canopy, The Make-Up bouquet and The Break-up Bouquet. The Thanksgiving centerpiece, the Christmas wreath for the front door. Flowers for every occasion and every day.

In August 2004, a fire burned us out of our home of 33 years at 81 A Seventh Avenue. Our friends, neighbors, and customers held a "barn raising", gave us seed money and a mandate to re-locate and rebuild.

Zuzu's Petals is from the movie 'It's A Wonderful Life". Like George Bailey in the last scene, friends and neighbors came to our rescue.
